What Makes Canadian Cider Different?

Canadian cider is shaped by an extraordinary range of growing conditions. From British Columbia and Ontario orchards to Québec’s internationally recognized ice cider tradition and emerging cider regions across the Prairies and Atlantic Canada, producers work with different climates, fruit and local traditions.

There is no single Canadian cider style—and that is part of what makes exploring Canadian cider so interesting.

Cider Canada / Cidre Canada

Cider Canada / Cidre Canada is the national association representing and supporting Canada’s cider industry. We bring cider makers together, advocate for the sector, support education and professional development, promote Canadian cider at home and internationally, and help build a stronger national cider community.
