About Cider Canada

Canada’s National Voice for Cider

Cider Canada / Cidre Canada brings together cider makers and industry partners from across the country to strengthen the sector, grow awareness of Canadian cider and create opportunities for producers to succeed.

Our Story

Canada has a long history of growing apples and making cider, but for much of the modern industry’s development, cider makers lacked a single national organization representing their shared interests.

Cider Canada was established in 2021 to help change that. What began as an effort to bring producers together around common national issues has grown into an association supporting advocacy, education, market development, industry research, promotion and collaboration across the country.

As of June 10, 2026, Cider Canada listed 169 members.
