Accessibility at Cider Canada

Accessibility at Cider Canada

Cider Canada / Cidre Canada is committed to making its public website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or navigate without a mouse.

Our current approach

We are reviewing and improving this website with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our working technical target. This statement describes our current approach and does not claim full conformance until manual and assistive-technology testing is complete.

What we are working to support

  • Keyboard access to navigation, links and controls.
  • Visible keyboard focus and clear link identification.
  • Readable text sizing, spacing and page reflow when zoomed.
  • Colour contrast that does not rely on colour alone to communicate meaning.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative treatment for images that do not add information.
  • Logical headings, landmarks and page structure for assistive technologies.
  • Reduced motion for visitors who request it through their device or browser settings.

Tell us about a barrier

If you have difficulty using this website, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need public information in another format, please email info@cidercanada.ca. If possible, include the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you were using.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing part of our website development. We will continue to review new pages, documents, images and interactive features as the site grows.
